The Wooden Quaich Terms and Conditions, and ordering information:

We aim to have your Quaich with you as soon as possible after your order and will keep you informed of the estimated dispatch date.

Each quaich is made to order and normal lead time is 6 to 7 days from ordering to dispatch depending on the availability of suitable timber. We will email you soon after your order to give you an estimate of the dispatch time.

Quaichs are usually posted 1st class Royal Mail, which should generally take a couple of days. Outwith the UK, postage times are a bit longer - again Royal Mail, Small Packet postage is generally used (sorry, but we can't do anything about postage times after dispatch). However, if you would like special guaranteed delivery, then please contact us to organise the additional payment. The Silver lugged Quaichs are automatically sent by recorded delivery (UK only).

Caring for your Quaich-

A care leaflet is included with each Quaich. Please note that they are not dishwasher safe! (well, sorry, but that has to be said). Some are finished with a food safe mineral oil and are safe to drink from, however those with coin insets are not suitable for drinking from - this is noted on each page.

After use the quiach should be rinsed out in warm (not hot) water and then dried with a soft cloth. Avoid soaps and detergents and do not leave it to soak in water. After a while the finish may dull a little, but it can be restored buy applying a small amount of oil with a lint free cloth. I recommend Chestnut foodsafe finish for this.

Being a natural product, the Quaich will change character over time. Please keep away from bright sun-light or changes in temperature for instance. Also, as each tree and piece of wood is different, we cannot guarantee that your Quaich will be exactly the same colour as depicted in the Gallery.

If you are not completely satisfied with your product, we will of course, be happy to refund. Please return the Quaich, unused, and carefully packaged, and ensure you retain proof of postage. Once we receive the undamaged product, we will refund your purchase in full.

Post and packing costs are inclusive in the quaich prices, and noted individually beside other items.

Payment - Paying for your Quaich is handled securely by Paypal, where you can use your Paypal account, or pay by most debit and credit cards.
